“Angel of St. Martinville” + Jazz Fest Video!

Paul Sanchez, Sonia Tetlow, Carla “Roxy” Bergeron, and Jamie Lynn Vessels got together one day during a trip to the Atchafalaya Basin after the hubbub of Jazz Fest season, and wrote a song about Saint Martinville, Louisiana. Airboats, basin rides, alligators, snakes, lilies, and moonshine all have a place in this story of taking time to relax and enjoy the ride. Check out the two different recorded versions by Paul Sanchez (here), and Sonia Tetlow (here).
